Mostly, you'll never have to worry about public transport in bangkok, You have plenty of options to choose from. Try Sky train or subway for comfort journeys. Another very easy mode is to take 'Motorcycle taxis' . Tuk Tuk is another good option for ppl traveling in groups.

Country : Vietnam
Is visa on arrival a scam or legit?

Visa on arrival is legitimate and posted in Vietnam immigration laws: http://www.mofa.gov.vn/vi/ct_lanhsu/vbpl/nr040831084533/copy2_of_ns040830162648 - so it is endorsed by the Vietnamese Government.

Why the embassy told me that it is not legit and a fraud while it looks legit?

After reviewing and interviewing some travel agents who processed this visa, our guess is that this visa compete directly with the embassy services, that is why they will never recognize this visa as legit procedure even though it is posted clearly in Immigration Laws of Vietnam. We will report it to Vietnam tourism Administration since visa on arrival may be one of the key factors help boosting Vietnam tourism.

Beware & cautious of what your tourist guide is telling you. Your guide may tell you that a specific store he/she is taking you to is a "government" store and that prices are fixed. That is a lie. There are NO government souvenir stores. This is ploy some guides use to get the tourists to pay first asked price and be comfortable with it. Know that anywhere your guide takes you to shop, the guide will be taking up to a 50% commission off your purchase. When it comes time to tip your guide, you may want to consider how much of the tip you want him/her to have has already been paid in commissions

Country : Cuba
When traveling to Cuba do not buy cigars off the street or beach, there is a very slim chance that you will get the real cigar maybe 1 in a 1000! Most likely you will be getting fake cigars made with homemade tobacco leaves, tobacco crumbs or even banana leaves and they are really bad quality they not only taste awful they could even make you sick! Save yourself the trouble and get your cigars at the authorized stores, at least you will get the real Cuban cigar taste that you will enjoy. The most popular fakes you will find are the Cohiba Esplendido. It just so happens that this cigar is made by only a handful of employees in Cuba so the chances of them being “real” are even slimmer, and they NEVER existed in a glass top humidor either!!

When in Rome...A few places I think that you will really want to see. The Colosseum, it is on eof the most amazing things I have ever seen before. You just get hit with this crazy energy as soon as you walk in through the gates. It is beautiful and so much is still alive there it truly is amazing. Remember to lick the wall for good luck. Also, I think you shoudl see the "Under Ground City", another amazing site, it is where the Gladiators used to stay while they were fighting in the Colosseum. It is amazing that it was so long ago and there is still so much left of it. I hope you all enjoy your stay if or when you do go. It truly is a breath taking trip.

Make sure you buy the Barcelona card, it is a discount card which can get you to a number of sights at lower price. The biggest advantage of the card is that you can get free transport including complete use of the Barcelona Metro. It also gets you free public transport from the airport so it makes sense to get the card before you actually arrive at Barcelona.
